ألمرية
ALMERIA

After the Saqlabis Khairan and Zuhair the rule of Almeria passes in 429H to ´Abd al-´Aziz of Valencia, but soon the defacto ruler becomes his designed governor Ibn Sumadih. The last strikes some fractional coinage in the name of his overlord ( see coins of Valencia) but very soon after, in 433H, as a sign of independece, starts striking anonymous coins without any mention of any overlord.
